Collection: Elsie Lange

Elsie Lange is a singer-songwriter based in Mparntwe/Alice Springs, central Australia, blending folk and indie-pop with heartfelt storytelling. After spending a decade in Naarm/Melbourne immersed in its vibrant music community, she returned to her hometown, bringing with her a sound shaped by both city and desert landscapes, love and growth.

Alongside her solo work, Lange has played in bands including the garage-pop outfit pting and later Local Derby. These experiences, along with collaborations across Melbourne’s music scene, have informed her approach to songwriting, which is both intimate and evocative.
